Is there something in your life that you wish were different? You think: “If only I could get rid of X, all would be well!”
Maybe your something confuses you. It might even scare the crap out of you!
Hi. It’s me, Heidi, and I know that place. Really well.
Maybe it’s an old habit or way of being. Or an underlying belief about yourself. Or a way of seeing the world that you inherited from your dear parents, which they inherited from theirs, and theirs and theirs…
But here it is, and it’s standing in the way of the life you dream. Here it is, leaking into your dearest relationships. Here it is, with seemingly no intention of moving.
Maybe it makes you pull your hair out. Or it wakes you up in the night. Or it makes your tummy queasy. Maybe it puts out your back and makes your neck all stiff.
But here it is. Hello!
You’re smart and you’re creative and you’re a really good person. So, WTF! And not just that! Maybe you’ve also tried many things and spent boatloads of moneys on this.
But here it is.
My friend, there is a different way and it doesn’t involve making that thing go away.
That’s right: it does NOT involve making that thing go away.
(Stay with me. Good things your way come).
I’m here to extend an invitation to you and your something.
“Um, Heidi?” (whispering) “You want me to bring IT along?”
(Whispering back) “Um, You, it doesn’t matter to me, but isn’t that thing there pretty much anyway? Just saying.“
So, YES: You AND your thing are corrrrdially invited to participate in A Month of Living Curiously, because when it comes to change—the down-to-the-bones kind of change that sticks—CURIOSITY, also called “awareness” in fancier circles, wins the prize. Hands-down.
I’d love you to join me for March’s adventure of a brand-spanking-new A Month of Living Curiously (AMOLC).
How’ll it work, Heidi?
You will receive missives from me over the course of the month, starting March 1.
Missives?
Just my fancy word for letter. Or postcard. By email.
Why missives?
They’re my way. It goes back to when I was 11, but that’s another story.
Missives are all about connection. (And I’m all over that).
Missives are personal and unique. (And who doesn’t like that).
Missives are fresh. (Fresh is good).
Missives aren’t preachy-teachy. At least not these ones. (Who wants that!)
Living curiously can be oh-so-exciting. Oh-so-kind. It can be quiet or splashing. And funny, too. (Good about that, especially with the hard stuffs).
Heidi, will I change? Will my something change? I can’t tell you in what way or how much you will change, but I’m quite sure change will happen. It does. You’ll see.
Where does this month thing happen? Where-ever you are.
That’s right, where-ever. Where are you at this moment? Well, it could be there. Your chair. Your desk. Your bed. Your park bench. Your treadmill. Your bathtub. Your car. Need I go on?
What time? Anytime.
Needed? Access to a computer. (Thank goodness about it being the 21st century and all !)
Cost? $30. That’s right, thirty. For a third of the cost of a Starbucks latte a day for a month, I will help you get curious.
Why so little? Hey, I want to make it something people—you know, the people!— like me can sign up for. (And if you want to pay more, let me know!)
Why so much? It’s what I love doing AND it’s my work. It feeds me. Thank you.
When? A MONTH OF LIVING CURIOUSLY starts Sunday, March 1. (Stragglers can join through Thursday, March 5)
Anything special for March? It can be about whatever you bring to the month, but there will be a special thread of “dreams” running through it. Mmmmm. I’m so excited about that! Dreams can spice up anything. And, “dreams” includes sleeping and waking dreams. So don’t tell me you don’t have any. And, even IF you don’t, no worries.
When & how do I sign up? Now and here is good! Or call or email me to arrange payment. Once payment is received, you’re in!
